Works of science fiction and fantasy in color.....

"Ishtar" Berol prisma color pencil on smooth bristol 2010       In the dream where I saw her, it was as if I traveled back into time. There was a Sumerian feel. She was turned to the side and watching several people in a court, hearing each parties side and judging who was at fault. There was mist all around and the background of everything was out of focus. She was the only one that knew I was there. I saw into her eyes and felt total beauty and calmness. I loved her in a way and wanted to be near her because of that feeling. I understood why she wore the silk headdress, (to seem less scary to the humans)    I felt like I was not suppose to be there, but she was puzzled then angry. It was more like a "oh, how did you get here, that is cute" feel from her but she didn't say anything.      At the end of the dream I asked her who she was and she only said "Ishtar" to me telepathically. The headdress she wore was red silk with gold trim there were lions in the designs, though the symbol I drew on the front is what I figured was there seeing she was turned sideways during the dream.       Ishtar is actually a later version of her name. There is so much more to write, but I would rather save it for chit chat in person...  I've done several images from the dream and I plan to do an oil painting series for an alternate prehistory coffee table book that I hope to get set up.
